A note on Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

Choosing a colour

Ask for beige in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. In beige, the Pilot looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. If you want it in beige, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates.

Specs, explained

The 3.5L 6-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 10.4 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 31 litres of fuel. In money, 1,000 km costs about $161.20 at our price setting.

The Pilot in everyday use

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Getting this car from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Booking with CarmaCars

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Rules for renters

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Next step

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
