A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for orange in your request. Want orange? Put it in the request. If you want it in orange, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates.

What the specs mean

It uses the 1.6L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Expect about 26 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.8 L/100 km combined rating. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $13.64, and a 300 km weekend about $40.92.

Space and size

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Who the Tucson suits

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

Getting one from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What we need from you

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

How it works

You request the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
