Choosing a colour

Want silver? Put it in the request. Our silver cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for silver and we try.

The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder does the work, through a 6-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

It is rated 9.5 L/100 km combined: about 29 litres every 300 km. Expect about $14.73 per 100 km at our price setting.

Living with the Tucson

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Who it is for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Getting this car from us

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Licence, age and card

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Booking with CarmaCars

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
