Colour notes

We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for red and we try. If red matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates. If you want it in red, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates.

Reading the spec sheet

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

At 10.6 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 32 litres of fuel. Every 100 km costs about $16.43 in fuel at our price setting.

How big it is

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

When the Cherokee makes sense

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Our Cherokee cars

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

Request, offer, keys

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Who can rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
