The 2019 Jeep Compass North, briefly

Looking at the 2019 Jeep Compass North? Here is what the figures say. The North is trim 2 of 5 in the Canadian lineup of the 2019 Jeep Compass.

Knobs and the Compass

Knobs is about 692 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you need it in Knobs itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union are the closest places to Knobs on our list.

Choosing a colour

Ask for orange in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. If orange matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates. The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer.

Under the hood

The 2.4L 4-cylinder does the work, through a 6-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Plan on about 27 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 9.0 L/100 km. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $13.95 at our price setting.

Inside and out

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Good uses for the Compass

It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

In our fleet

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you.

The rules, briefly

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

How booking works

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

When you know your dates

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
