Before you rent

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

How booking works

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
