In white

We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for white and we try. Ask for white in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer.

What the specs mean

The 2.5L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Its combined rating is 9.0 L/100 km, which means roughly 27 litres for 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $41.85 at our price setting.

Living with the Sorento

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

When the Sorento makes sense

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

Renting this car

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Driver basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Getting the car booked

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
