About the colour

The studio image shows the Sorento in black; photos of each real car are on its page. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for black and we try. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for black in your request.

Under the hood

The engine is the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

By the EPA's combined rating of 9.0 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 27 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $41.85 at our price setting.

Space and size

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Best uses

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Renting this car

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer.

Booking, step by step

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Driver requirements

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
