The Lexus IS in plain words

The Lexus IS is a compact car, with pages for each model year. The most efficient year in the catalog is the 2018.

When the IS makes sense

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Size and space

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. A lower seat than an SUV means a little more effort getting in, and a planted feel on the road.

Renting the IS from CarmaCars

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

Before you rent

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

The booking steps

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Still deciding?

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.

Can I rent a Lexus IS in Toronto?

Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.

How much does fuel cost to drive the Lexus IS 100 km?

About $16.59 for fuel, from the EPA combined rating of 10.7 L/100 km for the 2026 at $1.55 a litre. You return the car with the same fuel it had at pickup.

How old do I need to be to rent?

18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.

How much is the deposit?

Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.

What coverage do I need?

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.

Can the car be delivered?

Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
