The Mazda 5 in plain words
Here are all the Mazda 5 model years we have figures for. The most efficient year in the catalog is the 2014.
What the 5 is like
It is the kind of vehicle that makes a family trip calmer. Check the car's page for its seats and luggage notes before you request it.
A good match for
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Can I rent it?
Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
What to have ready
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
How renting with us works
A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.
Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

How much does fuel cost to drive the Mazda 5 100 km?
About $15.35 for fuel, from the EPA combined rating of 9.9 L/100 km for the 2015 at $1.55 a litre. You return the car with the same fuel it had at pickup.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
