The 2001 Mazda B Pickup: an overview

Everything we can source about the 2001 Mazda B Pickup is on this page.

What the figures tell you

It uses the 2.3L 4-cylinder and rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference. It has a manual gearbox, so you need to be comfortable with a clutch.

By the EPA's combined rating of 10.2 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 31 litres. It uses 11.2 L/100 km in the city and 9.0 on the highway, by its rating. For 1,000 km, budget about $158.10 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Inside and out

Being a pickup truck, it trades parking ease for a cargo bed.

Longer drives

Return the car with the fuel it had at pickup, or a fee applies. A long weekend away is easy to price with the figures on this page. Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones.

Our B Pickup cars

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

What to bring

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

How a booking comes together

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
