How renting with us works

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Who qualifies

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
