The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Getting the car booked

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Requirements

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
