Rules for renters

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

The steps

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
