Driver requirements

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
