The numbers in plain words

It is powered by the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The combined figure, 7.6 L/100 km, means roughly 23 litres for 300 km. That works out to about $11.78 per 100 km at our price setting.

Size and space

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. With 425 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes a family's bags for a long weekend.

A good match for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Rent it from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What we ask of drivers

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Requesting a car

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Over to you

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
