The Nissan Hyper-Mini, briefly
Here is the Nissan Hyper-Mini, a two-seat sports car, from its first year in our catalog to its latest.
Who rents the Hyper-Mini
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
How big it is
As a two-seat sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second. Expect a firmer ride and less luggage space than a family car.
Getting one from us
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Rules for renters
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.
For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Booking made plain
Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.
You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

About $4.20 for electricity, from the EPA combined rating of 28.0 kWh/100 km for the 2001 at 15 cents a kWh. You return the car with the same charge it had at pickup.
How old do I need to be to rent?
