A note on Java

Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the neighbouring places on our list.

Colour notes

Our orange cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one. Ask for orange in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. If orange matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates.

Reading the spec sheet

Power comes from the 1.6L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 22 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.2 L/100 km. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $33.48 at our price setting.

The Kicks in everyday use

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA measures its luggage space at 708 litres, roughly bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Good uses for the Kicks

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Getting one from us

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Who can rent

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Requesting a car

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
