Colour notes

Our silver cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. Our silver cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one. Ask for silver in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car.

The numbers in plain words

It uses the 1.6L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Combined fuel use is 7.1 L/100 km: about 21 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $11.01, and a 300 km weekend about $33.03.

When the Kicks makes sense

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Inside and out

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 708 litres of luggage space fit bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Getting this car from us

Requirements

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Booking made plain

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
