The Macan in silver

Our silver cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. If you want it in silver, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. Our silver cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one.

What the specs mean

The powertrain here is the 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

A combined rating of 12.1 L/100 km works out to about 36 litres per 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $63.54 in energy at our price setting.

Space and size

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

When the Macan makes sense

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Can you rent one?

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Who qualifies

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Booking made plain

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
