Colour notes

Ask for silver in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. In silver, the 1500 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. Tell us if silver is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly.

Under the hood

The 5.7L 8-cylinder, paired with an 8-speed automatic, drives it. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

A combined rating of 13.6 L/100 km works out to about 41 litres per 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $63.24 in energy at our price setting.

Room inside

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

Good uses for the 1500

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

In our fleet

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match.

From your dates to the handover

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What to bring

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
