In brown

Engine and fuel

The 5.7L 8-cylinder is what moves it, with rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Fuel use is rated 13.6 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 41 litres. Every 100 km costs about $21.08 in fuel at our price setting.

Who rents the 1500

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Practical details

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

The booking steps

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What we need from you

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Ask us

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
