Driver basics

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
