About the 2012 Subaru Outback
Looking at the 2012 Subaru Outback? Start with its powertrains and fuel use.
The numbers in plain words
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Good uses for the Outback
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.
Space, size and seats
Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.
Road trips
Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent, agreed before you go. Plan longer trips against the kilometres included each day.
Getting this car from us
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Booking, step by step
Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.
Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
What we ask of drivers
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Renting the 2012 Subaru Outback
Can I rent a 2012 Subaru Outback in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
