Colour notes

Ask for silver in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. Our silver cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for silver in your request.

Reading the spec sheet

The powertrain here is the electric motor with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. Every 100 km costs about $2.79 in electricity at our price setting.

The Model 3 in everyday use

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. In plain terms, its 425 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Rent it from us

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

How it works

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Rules for renters

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
