Engine and fuel

Its powertrain is the electric motor with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

At 18.6 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 56 kWh. The EPA rates its range at 507 km. Winter cold and fast highway driving cut that down. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $27.90.

Who the Model 3 suits

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Space and size

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. With 425 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes a family's bags for a long weekend.

Can you rent one?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

From your dates to the handover

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What we need from you

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
