Specs, explained

Power comes from the electric motor, driving through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Energy use is rated at 18.6 kWh/100 km, about 56 kWh for 300 km. The EPA rates its range at 507 km. Winter cold and fast highway driving cut that down. For 1,000 km, budget about $27.90 at our price setting.

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Room inside

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

Getting one from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The rules, briefly

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

What to expect when you book

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
