About the colour

If you want it in grey, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for grey and we try. The studio image shows the Model 3 in grey; photos of each real car are on its page.

Specs, explained

Its electric motor drives through a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $27.90.

A good match for

It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

The Model 3 in everyday use

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. In plain terms, its 425 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.

Renting it

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What we check

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Booking made plain

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Next step

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
