What the specs mean

The engine is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It uses 18.6 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 56 kWh of charge. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. The electricity for 100 km comes to about $2.79 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Space and size

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. With 425 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes a family's bags for a long weekend.

Renting it

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

The booking steps

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What we need from you

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
