In silver

Our silver cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one. Colour is confirmed in your offer, never before. If you want it in silver, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates.

Reading the spec sheet

Power: the electric motor; drive: all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Its rating is 18.6 kWh/100 km: about 56 kWh for 300 km. The EPA rates its range at 507 km. Winter cold and fast highway driving cut that down. In energy, every 100 km costs about $2.79 at our price setting.

Size and space

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

When the Model 3 makes sense

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Renting this car

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

What we ask of drivers

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

How booking works

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
