The numbers in plain words

Power comes from the electric motor, driving through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

At 18.6 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 56 kWh. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $2.79, and a 300 km weekend about $8.37.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Practical details

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA lists 425 litres for luggage, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

Rent it from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

How to book

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

What you need to rent

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
