Engine and fuel

It is powered by the electric motor, with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. At our price setting, it costs about $2.79 to drive 100 km.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

How big it is

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. EPA lists 425 litres of luggage space, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

In our fleet

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

How booking works

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Licence, age and card

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Ready when you are

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
