The Model 3 in silver

Our silver cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one. A silver car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. Want silver? Put it in the request.

Reading the spec sheet

Its electric motor drives through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

For every 100 km it uses about 18.6 kWh. Rated range: 507 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. Every 100 km costs about $2.79 in electricity at our price setting.

Room inside

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. EPA lists 425 litres of luggage space, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Who it is for

It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Our Model 3 cars

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What we need from you

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

How booking works

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Make a request

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
