Choosing a colour

Want black? Put it in the request. Ask for black in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. Our black cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one.

Reading the spec sheet

The electric motor with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Its rating is 18.6 kWh/100 km: about 56 kWh for 300 km. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. That works out to about $2.79 per 100 km at our price setting.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Practical details

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is rated at 425 litres: a family's bags for a long weekend.

Can you rent one?

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Who qualifies

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Requesting a car

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Make a request

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
