The Model 3 and Sharp

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Sharp starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Sharp is about 1,368 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to.

If you are near Sharp, Gainsboro, Pfeiffer and Moorefield are close too.

In black

If you want it in black, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. Want black? Put it in the request. Colour is confirmed in your offer, never before.

Reading the spec sheet

Power: the electric motor; drive: all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

At 18.6 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 56 kWh. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $2.79, and a 300 km weekend about $8.37.

How big it is

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. EPA lists 425 litres of luggage space, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work. It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one.

Can I rent it?

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What to have ready

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Requesting a car

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
