About the colour

In blue, the Model 3 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. Colour is confirmed in your offer, never before. Our blue cars, when we have them, appear first in the list.

The numbers in plain words

The electric motor with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It uses 18.6 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 56 kWh of charge. Rated range: 507 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. Expect about $2.79 per 100 km at our price setting.

Space and size

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The trunk holds 425 litres by the EPA's count: a family's bags for a long weekend.

Best uses

It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Getting one from us

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

What we check

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Getting the car booked

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
