About the colour

The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. If gold matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates. If you want it in gold, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates.

Under the hood

The electric motor does the work, through a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Energy use is rated at 15.3 kWh/100 km, about 46 kWh for 300 km. Its rated range is 584 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. At our price setting, it costs about $2.30 to drive 100 km.

Room inside

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

When the Model 3 makes sense

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Rent it from us

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

Getting the car booked

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Renting: the basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
