In green

A green car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. Ask for green in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. Tell us if green is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly.

Specs, explained

Its electric motor drives through a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Its rating is 18.7 kWh/100 km: about 56 kWh for 300 km. On paper it goes 488 km between charges, less in winter. A 300 km weekend costs about $8.43 in energy at our price setting.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Room inside

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Its 425 litre trunk is enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Our Model 3 cars

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

Booking with CarmaCars

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

The rules, briefly

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
