What the specs mean

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 6.6 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 20 litres. At our price setting, it costs about $10.23 to drive 100 km.

Inside and out

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA lists 510 litres for luggage, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

Who rents the Corolla

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Renting this car

Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What we check

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

From your dates to the handover

You request the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
