A note on Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 770 km away.

Nearby places include Lucks, Ebenezer and Shockoe.

Choosing a colour

Ask for green in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for green in your request. If green matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates.

What the figures tell you

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The EPA rates it at 6.6 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 20 litres. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $102.30.

Who rents the Corolla

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Size and space

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. EPA lists 510 litres of luggage space, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

What to expect when you book

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Over to you

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
