Renting for Java

New Hope, Roeton and Frisco are the neighbouring places on our list.

Choosing a colour

A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for red in your request. A red car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. Want red? Put it in the request.

Under the hood

The powertrain here is the 3.5L 6-cylinder with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Fuel use is rated 10.1 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 30 litres. For 1,000 km, budget about $156.60 at our price setting.

Inside and out

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

When the Highlander makes sense

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Can I rent it?

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Booking, step by step

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Before pickup

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Make a request

Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
