The RAV4 and Java

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Neighbouring areas include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

The RAV4 in yellow

If yellow matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates. Our yellow cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. Colour is confirmed in your offer, never before.

What the specs mean

The engine is the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Its combined rating is 7.9 L/100 km, which means roughly 24 litres for 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $122.50 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

Size and space

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Getting this car from us

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Before you rent

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Booking made plain

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
