Fuel use is the US EPA rating (fueleconomy.gov) converted to litres per 100 km; Canadian ratings can differ slightly. Trim names are the Canadian lineup.
Volvo models in our catalog
From the newest Volvo back to 1981, the models are listed here. Familiar names here include the Cab Behind Engine, Cab Over Engine HT, Cab Over Engine LT, EX30 and EX30 CC. The catalog includes 7 electric Volvo models. 7 Volvo models offer a hybrid powertrain.
Trims are the Canadian lineup, so names may differ from US pages. Every year page shows fuel use for each powertrain, from the EPA rating.
Which Volvo?
Our own Volvo cars, when we have them, are listed below with their rates. Think about seats and luggage first, then about trims and options. Newer years are not always more efficient; the years table shows the facts.
Rent this car
We have no Volvo on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Booking in plain terms
Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
Before you rent
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
Send a request
Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.

Renting a Volvo in Toronto
Can I rent a Volvo in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $0 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
