Car Buffing in Barr, NM

Car Buffing: what is involved

CarmaCars does this work in the Toronto area, about 2,535 km from Barr. Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.

Booking the work

If the job turns out bigger than expected, we tell you before doing more. Mention the year and trim so we price the right size of car. You approve the price before we start. Not sure what the car needs? Describe it and we suggest the right work.

Before you drop the car off

Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Ask any question you have before the work starts.

Planning around the work

Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days. Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner.

What affects the price

If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.

Keeping it that way

Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car.
