Car Buffing: what is involved

For paint correction in Bedrock: CarmaCars does this work only in the Toronto area, about 2,543 km away. What it covers: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.

Getting a price

Send the make, model and year, what you want done, and when suits you. We reply with a price and a time, and nothing is booked until you agree. Send a few details or photos and we reply with a price. If the job turns out bigger than expected, we tell you before doing more.

When the car is ready

We give you a time with the quote, so you can plan a rental for the right number of days. Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.

What affects the price

A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person.

Aftercare

Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.

Before you drop the car off

Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.

Honest about distance

CarmaCars has no branch in Bedrock. We rent from one location in Toronto. Bedrock lies about 2,543 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you can bring the car to the Toronto area, send a request and we quote it. The work happens around Toronto, so the car has to come to us. Unsure? Send a request about Bedrock, and we answer plainly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
