Car Buffing: what is involved

Our shop work happens in the Toronto area. We have no location in Brushy. Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.

From request to appointment

Photos help: a few pictures of the problem make the quote more accurate. Include the colour and any options that affect the work. We price each job once we know the car and what it needs. A person replies with a price and a time, and you decide.

A few things first

Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.

Planning around the work

Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. A clear timeline comes with every quote.

Keeping it that way

Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.

Why prices differ

The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
