Car Buffing: what is involved
CarmaCars has no location in Goodnight; we do paint correction in the Toronto area. Put simply: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
Booking the work
Mention the year and trim so we price the right size of car. Ask anything about the work in your request; a person answers. Every car is different, so we reply with a price for yours. Say when the car is free, and we suggest a time that works.
After the work
Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car.
How the price is set
A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do.
Getting the car ready
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
How long it takes
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover.
