Car Buffing: what is involved
CarmaCars does this work in the Toronto area, about 1,520 km from Green Valley. What it covers: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Booking the work
We confirm the price and the time with you before the car comes in. Tell us where the car is parked if it cannot be driven. There is no one price: we quote your car after seeing the details. A person replies with a price and a time, and you decide.
How long it takes
Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
After the work
Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
What goes into a quote
A quote from us is free and comes with no obligation. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price.
Before you drop the car off
Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Ask any question you have before the work starts. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
Our area, and Green Valley
