About the work
Car Buffing in Hoovers Corner: CarmaCars works in the Toronto area only, so here is the honest picture. What we do here: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Booking the work
Not sure what the car needs? Describe it and we suggest the right work. Nothing is booked until you say yes to the price and the time. There is no one price: we quote your car after seeing the details. Tell us whether the car can be dropped off or needs to be picked up.
When the car is ready
We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. We keep you posted if the timing changes. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.
Before you drop the car off
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Why prices differ
We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price.
Looking after it afterwards
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing.
