Car Buffing: what is involved
CarmaCars does this work in the Toronto area, about 1,982 km from Humphreys. The short version: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
How to request it
Send the make, model and year, what you want done, and when suits you. Mention the year and trim so we price the right size of car. The price depends on the car and the work, so we quote each car before we start. Photos help: a few pictures of the problem make the quote more accurate.
Aftercare
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior.
What affects the price
The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part.
What to bring
Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
When the car is ready
You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule.
